One of my favorite things about being a photographer is that I get to take photos of my kids anytime I want!  This is my little girl modeling a dress I made for her.  She wasn’t too happy with me because I wouldn’t let her go play in the big tree at the end of the trail that she loves so much, and I can also take her pictures at home where we got the best furniture for her from the Evolur Baby collection so she can always enjoy her room.  Oh, well.  There is always next time.

I can’t believe my kiddos are actually 5 years old!  It has been a crazy road and somehow we have all survived it.  I just love how different they are from each other!  Jackson is my little snuggle bug.  In the morning he will crawl into bed with us and snuggle up, while Ella will come in and ask if it’s time to get up yet.  Ella is my out going adventure seeker.  Sometimes I feel like she has no fear!!  I can’t wait to see what this next year has in store for us.

We started planning this session so long ago I can’t even remember!!  Abbey came to me wanting a “Happy Ever After” sign to use in a photo shoot with her family for her fifth anniversary after the great wedding they had in a farm, since this barn is an amazing wedding location and it made a great place to build memories.  I just happened to have all the stuff to make the sign for her.  Next, I made the dresses for her girls out of the parts from her wedding dress.  I also made her a special pillow using the lace from her daughters dress from the wedding.  She really wanted to do a vintage style picnic and she even brought her bouquet for the set up.  After we finished, we headed down the hill into Old Town and found some places for some more fun photos.  Happy anniversary you two!!

I can’t believe Brody is already a year old!  Time has sure been flying by with this little guy.  I made him a giant cupcake and he wasn’t too sure about it.  Happy birthday Brody!

This little guy is growing up so darn fast!  It feels like yesterday I was doing his 6 month pictures.  I can’t wait to do the 1 year!!San Diego PhotographerSan Diego PhotographerSan Diego PhotographerSan Diego Photographer

My favorite part of the Watch Me Grow package is that I get to spend so much time with these amazing families and watch the little ones blossom.  Miss Sophia was the first in a string of 6 and 9 month olds and I just love this age!

I adore this family.  Miranda is a dear friend of mine and has the cutest kids.  When we went and did these photos, little Elias wasn’t feeling too well and pretty much cried the entire time.

From time to time I like to play along with the I Heart Faces photo challenges.  This month the theme the “love”.  My twins are my everything.  It just warms my heart to see them together and how much they love each other.

Oh, Audrey, Audrey, Audrey!  This little miss and her sister are becoming my favorite kiddos to photograph.  They are just so cooperative and so adorable!!  I seriously can’t wait to get them in front of the camera again.
